Frol Boundin’s paintings examine how symbolic structures shape personal memory and explore ways to express temporal experiences in two-dimensional form. His practice revolves around the search for mundane objects that, through careful placement or restoration, take on the significance of monuments.

Equally, Frol is drawn to items gradually reclaimed by the landscape through natural decay. This ongoing process of discovery—of 'finding'—is central to the artist’s practice, revealing the interplay between time, memory, and the objects we encounter.
