Given to Rise is an abstract composition of acrylic on canvas. Bubbles of red, black, and blue rise diagonally up the painting, giving the impression of air bubbles rising in water. The soft background and playful dots create a dichotomy of seriousness that results a dynamic composition.

While water is incredibly adaptive, changing states or flowing with the terrain, it is paradoxically powerful...It can literally move mountains.
