While traveling on train through the southwest, a small non-descriptive building would appear on the horizon that held so much mystery. Was it a barn, a church, a home? It held my attention to the point of wanting to capture its beautiful and simple essence.
Curated Description: The Place depicts a multi-planed abstract landscape in mixed media on canvas. Inverted perspective, coupled with a textured surface and indications of surrounding imagery result in complex but divided color fields.
